대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)와 한국산업단지공단 경북지역본부(본부장 이규호)는 인간중심의 기술 발전과 디지털 인지재활 분야의 공동 연구를 위한 상호교류협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 상호교류협약을 통해 양 기관은 한국산업단지공단 경북지역본부 입주기업의 교육훈련을 지원하고 지역 산업의 진흥과 일자리 창출을 위한 상호 협력체계를 구축해 나가게 됐다. 

대구사이버대학교 이근용 총장은 “우리 지역 경제발전의 중추적인 역할을 수행하는 한국산업단지 경북지역본부와 협력할 수 있게 되어 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “이번 협약을 통해 지역 일자리 창출과 산업의 진흥을 위해 다양한 분야에서 공동의 노력과 협력을 확대해 나갈 수 있기를 바란다”고 밝혔다. 

전종국 처장은 “창의공학부에는 선취업 후진학 지원제도 뿐만 아니라 단지 내 중소기업 임직원의 가족들에게 가족장학금을 제공함으로써 가족친화경영을 실천할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 있다”고 했다.

한편 대구사이버대는 최근 전국 대학 최초로 인플루언서학과를 신설, 4개 학부(재활과학부, 사회복지학부, 교육·행정학부, 창의공학부) 15개 학과에서 2022학년도 신·편입생을 모집 중이다.

신입학은 고등학교 졸업 이상 학력이면 고교 내신이나 수능 성적과 관계없이 누구나 가능하다. 전문대 졸업 이상 학력일 경우 3학년으로 편입학할 수 있다. 장애 등급이 있거나 기초생활수급권자일 경우 특별전형을 통해 지원할 수 있다.
