【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)는 지난 6일 대구대학교 경영대학 강당과 사랑광장에서 재학생과 동문이 함께하는 소통과 화합의 장 ‘2025 DCU 가을 페스티벌, 너의 가을이 궁금해’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 대구사이버대학교와 제24대 총학생회가 공동 주최했으며, 재학생과 동문, 교직원이 참석해 가을 정취 속에서 웃음과 감동이 함께하는 하루를 보냈다.

축제는 1부 개회식에서 ▲환영사 ▲축사 ▲정재승 KAIST 교수의 초청특강(‘뇌과학으로 미래 교육을 성찰하다’)이 진행됐으며, 2부에서는 ▲‘총장님이 쏜다’ 이벤트 ▲레크리에이션 공연과 이벤트 ▲학과별 장기자랑 ▲폐회식 등 다채로운 프로그램이 이어졌다.

특히 정재승 교수(카이스트 뇌인지과학과, 융합인재학부 학부장)는 ‘뇌과학으로 행복을 성찰하다’를 주제로 뇌의 구조와 기능을 토대로 한 감정·의식 이해와 행복한 삶의 방법을 강연해 큰 호응을 얻었다. 또 사전질문 이벤트 ‘가을, 질문의 발자국을 남기다’를 통해 학생들과 Q&A 시간을 가졌으며, 저서 『열두 발자국』을 선정된 12명의 학생에게 선물하며 지식과 통찰을 나누는 시간을 마련했다.

이어 대구대 사랑광장에서 진행된 ‘총장님이 쏜다’ 이벤트에서는 이근용 총장이 직접 학생들에게 아이스크림을 나눠주며 격려와 응원의 메시지를 전해 뜨거운 환호를 받았다. 이후 레크리에이션과 학과별 장기자랑이 이어지며 무대는 노래와 춤 공연으로 활기를 띠었고, 현장은 학생들의 열정과 웃음으로 가득 찼다.

제24대 총학생회 박상욱 회장(한국어다문화학과)은 “가을 축제를 통해 모두가 하나 되어 열정을 펼치고 자유롭게 소통하는 자리가 되길 바란다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

이근용 총장도 개회식에서 “이번 가을 축제를 통해 학생과 교수, 선후배 간의 따뜻한 교류가 이뤄지는 뜻깊은 시간이 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편, 현장에 참석하지 못한 학생들을 위해 이번 축제는 대구사이버대학교 공식 유튜브 채널을 통해 생중계됐다.
