 이번 행사는 재학생, 졸업생, 예비 입학생 등 50여 명이 참석, 방학 중 자기계발 기회를 제공하고, 지역 간 소통과 유대감 강화를 위해 마련됐다.

이날 간담회에는 이근용 총장, 전종국 특임부총장, 윤은경 대학원장을 비롯한 교수진이 참석해 학생들과 직접 소통하고, AI 시대에 필요한 대학생의 역량과 학교생활 전략에 대한 진솔한 대화를 나눴다.

행사는 ‘받침대 만들기’ 아이스브레이킹 활동을 시작으로, 이근용 총장의 대학 설립 이념 및 사회적 가치를 공유하는 환영사, 그리고 2025학년도 입시설명회가 이어졌다. 입시설명회에서는 장학제도, 온라인 학습의 유연성, 그리고 직장인·주부·은퇴자 등 다양한 계층을 위한 맞춤형 학습 설계에 대한 설명이 진행됐다.

이어진 **이지현 강사의 특강 ‘AI 시대 대학생의 필수 역량 강화’**는 AI 기술의 실생활 및 학업 활용법에 초점을 맞춰 참석자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

특히 이날 행동치료학과 졸업생이자 현직 교수인 권은애 교수는 ‘슬기로운 학교생활’을 주제로 후배 재학생들에게 원격수업 활용법, 시간관리 전략, 소속감 형성을 위한 커뮤니티 활동 노하우 등을 전달하며 현장의 공감을 이끌었다.

놀이치료학과 재학생 조아라 씨는 “온라인으로만 만나던 학우들과 직접 얼굴을 마주하며 진심 어린 조언을 들을 수 있어 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “지역 간담회가 더 자주 마련되기를 기대한다”고 소감을 전했다.

이근용 총장은 “사이버대학의 교육은 단순한 온라인 강의를 넘어, 학생들과 직접 만나 소통하고 성장의 기회를 제공하는 것이 핵심”이라며 “앞으로도 전국 각 지역에서 간담회와 특강을 정기적으로 열어 참여와 교류의 장을 넓혀 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 대구사이버대학교는 오는 7월 16일까지 2025학년도 2학기 신·편입생을 모집 중이다. 특수교육, 사회복지, 상담·치료·재활 분야에 특화된 4년제 사이버대학으로, 학사 학위와 함께 국가자격증 취득이 가능하다.
