협약식에는 대구사이버대 전종국 부총장, 김한양 기획입시처장, 대구대 대학원 최철영 원장과 양 대학원 관계자들이 참석했다. 이번 협약은 양 기관 간 교육 및 연구 분야의 실질적 교류를 강화하고 상호 발전을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.

협약의 주요 내용으로는 ▲교수 및 연구 인력 상호 교류 ▲학생 연구 활동 교류 ▲학부 졸업생 상대 대학원 진학 시 장학금 지급 ▲교육과정 및 입학 관련 정보 교류 및 홍보 등이 포함됐다. 양 대학원은 이를 기반으로 다양한 공동 사업 추진과 협력 체계 강화에 나설 계획이다.
