【브레이크뉴스 상주】이성현 기자=국립낙동강생물자원관(관장 유호)은 지구 온난화, 생물다양성 감소 등과 같은 환경위기에 대응하기 위해 생활 속 ‘탄소발자국 줄이기’ 환경실천 운동을 추진한다고 30일 밝혔다.

탄소중립은 2016년 발효된 ‘파리협정(Paris Climate Agreement)' 이후 121개 국가가 2050 탄소중립 목표 기후 동맹에 가입하는 등 기후변화의 심각성에 대한 인식이 확대되었으며, 우리나라도 2020년 10월 28일탄소중립을 선언했다.

이번 운동은지역 시민·관광객 대상으로 ‘온/오프라인 환경실천 홍보활동’을, 임직원 대상으로는 ‘지역 제철농산물 공동구매’, ‘순환자원 모으기 운동’을 지역로컬푸드협동조합과 함께 전개한다.
