【브레이크뉴스 봉화】이성현 기자=봉화군은 경상북도가 23개 전 시·군을 대상으로 실시한‘2022년 시군 가축방역평가’에서 차별화된 자체 방역사업으로 우수기관에 선정됐다고 12일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 이번 평가는 방역시책과 예산, 구제역·고병원성조류인플루엔자·아프리카돼지열병 질병대응 등 2개 분야 15개 항목에 대해 실시됐다.

봉화군은 이동통제초소, 거점소독시설을 운영하고 전국 최초로 지자체에서 계란 환적장을 건립하는 등 타 시군과 차별되는 자체 방역사업 추진으로 정성평가에서 높은 점수를 받았다.

정승욱 농정축산과장은“봉화군은 고병원성조류인플루엔자와 같은 악성 가축전염병이 한 차례도 발생하지 않은 청정지역을 유지하고 있다.”며 “앞으로도 군과 축산농가, 관계기관이 유기적으로 협력해 체계적이고 선제적인 가축방역 활동을 추진하겠다.”고 말했다.
