【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)은 올해 지방규제혁신 우수기관으로 재인증 됐다고 23일 밝혔다.
‘지방규제혁신 우수기관 인증제’는 행정안전부가 전국 지자체를 대상으로 규제혁신 역량강화를 위해 운영하는 제도로 3년을 주기로 총 3개 부문 14개 지표를 바탕으로 1천점 만점에 750점을 취득한 지자체를 우수기관으로 인증한다.
이번 평가에서 동구청은 총점 921.7점을 받아 지난 2019년 전국 자치구 중 유일하게 지방규제혁신 우수기관으로 신규인증 된 이후 연속 인증받게 됐다.
동구청은 업무담당자의 시각에서 규제개선 사항을 발굴하기 위하여 매년 직원 아이디어 공모를 통해 규제 애로사항을 발굴하고 있으며, 규제혁신과 적극행정을 위해 노력하는 우수 공무원과 우수 부서를 선발하여 인센티브를 부여하는 등 전 직원의 관심도 증대와 참여를 위해 노력해 왔다.
또, 현장의 소리를 듣기위해 찾아가는 규제신고센터를 상시 운영하고, 소상공인의 경제활동에 걸림돌이 되거나 주민의 일상생활에 불편함을 주는 불합리한 규제를 발굴하여 국무조정실 규제개혁신문고를 통해 지속적으로 규제개선을 건의해왔다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “규제로 인해 주민들이 겪게 되는 불편 사항들 하나하나에 귀 기울이고 해결할 수 있도록 전 직원이 적극적으로 노력할 것”이라며 “적극행정과 규제혁신의 선도 기관으로서 타 지자체의 모범이 되는 동구를 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
