【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 2일 보건복지부 주관 '국민영양관리 시행계획 수립 및 시행 분야'에서 우수기관으로 선정돼 보건복지부 장관 표창을 받았다고 밝혔다.
‘국민영양관리 시행계획 수립 및 시행 분야 우수기관상’은 국민영양관리 기본 계획에 따라 국민영양관리 시행계획을 충실히 수립하고 이행해 국민영양관리와 국민건강증진에 크게 기여한 기관에 표창한다.
달서구는 지역사회자원 연계, 취약계층 발굴과 지원 등을 적극적으로 수행해 영양관리사업 활성화 및 영양관리 사각지대 해소에 최선을 다하고 있다.
또 생애주기별, 대상특성별, 생활터별 충실한 영양관리 계획 수립으로 지역주민의 건강한 식생활 실천을 위해 노력 중이다.
이번 평가에서 달서구는 정책여건과 다양한 지역사회자원과의 적극적인 연계․협업을 바탕으로 하는 영양 격차 해소를 위한 다각적인 노력이 높은 점수를 받았다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 “누구나, 언제나, 어디서나 생활밀착 스마트 영양관리 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 하면서 특히 저체중아, 조손가정자녀, 사회적․경제적 취약 청․장년 및 만성질환 어르신 등 영양취약 계층에 대한 집중 영양관리로 영양격차 해소에 최선을 다 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
