【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 '2022년 주민참여예산제 운영 평가'에서 4년 연속 우수 자치단체로 선정됐다고 3일 밝혔다.
행정안전부는 매년 전국 지방자치단체를 대상으로 주민참여예산제 운영실적 평가를 실시하고 있다.
전국 243개 자치단체를 특·광역시·도, 시, 군, 구 4개 유형으로 나눠 심사한 결과, 달서구는 종합상 분야 4년 연속 우수 자치단체로 선정돼 행정안전부 장관 표창과 함께 7천만 원의 재정인센티브 지원을 받게 됐다.
지난해 달서구는 지역 젊은이들의 사회성과 리더십 함양을 위해 청년 및 청소년 참여 예산제를 확대 운영했고, 주민참여예산 모니터링단을 구성․운영해 주민참여예산 사업에 대한 사후 관리기능을 강화했다.
또 지역의 주요 현안을 주민 스스로 발굴하고 해결하기 위해 대상별(청소년, 다문화가족, 통장 등) 맞춤형 교육을 실시하는 등 다양한 우수시책을 발굴·추진으로 높은 평가를 받았다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 “4년 연속 우수 자치단체로 선정된 것은 구민 모두가 지역사회에 관심을 갖고 적극적으로 참여하여 이루어 낸 뜻깊은 성과”라며 “앞으로도 주민참여예산제를 통해 주민들의 소중한 의견을 구정에 반영할 수 있도록 최선을 다 하겠다”고 전했다.
