【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 수성구(구청장 김대권) 여자태권도선수단이 제17회 한국 실업 태권도 연맹 회장기 전국태권도대회 여자일반부 5인조 단체전에서 금메달을 획득했다고 10일 밝혔다.

수성구청 태권도선수단은 대회 첫날 열린 5인조 단체전 8강에서 동래구청을 맞아 1회전 9:4 승, 2회전 16:16 무, 3회전 34:19 승을 차지했다.

이어진 준결승 충남도청과의 경기에서는 1회전 5:9로 패했으나 2, 3회전을 각각 13:11, 31:19로 승리하며 결승에 진출했다. 

결승전에서 청주시청을 10:0, 21:5, 36:15로 단체전 4연패의 위업을 달성하며 한국 실업 5인조 단체전 최강자임을 증명했다.

둘째 날 개최된 개인전에서도 –53㎏급 강명진 선수가 금메달, –57㎏급 류지수 선수와 +73㎏ 유경민 선수가 각각 은메달을, –62㎏급 박보의 선수가 동메달을 획득해 종합 준우승을 차지했다.

수성구청은 올해 새롭게 영입한 새내기 강명진(경희대), 류지수(동의대) 선수가 단체전 및 개인전에서도 기대 이상의 활약을 펼쳤으며, 특히 강명진 선수는 은퇴한 김보미 선수 뒤를 이을 후계자로 팀의 에이스가 될 자질을 충분히 선보이며 앞으로의 금빛 레이스를 예고했다.
