【브레이크뉴스 경주】이성현 기자=경주엑스포대공원은 지난 12일 대회의실에서 정규식 경주엑스포대공원 사무총장, 이용승 콘텐츠운영팀장, 심의위원 6명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2023년 신라문화기반 지역브랜드 상설공연’을 위한 1차 심의위원회를 개최했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이날 회의에서는 심의위원 위촉장 전달과 함께, 이번 사업에 대한 설명과 방향성, 예산 등에 대해 설명했으며, 이어진 심의에서는 다양한 논의를 거쳐, 이달 중 상설공연 및 신규공연제작 단체 공모에 나서기로 했다.

경주엑스포대공원은 정부의 문화예술사업 지원방식이 변경됨에 따라  지역문화 콘텐츠 발굴·진흥 및 지역 공연예술문화의 활성화와 문화관광산업에 기여하고, 경주엑스포대공원이 대한민국 대표 문화콘텐츠 관광지로서의 명성을 회복하기 위해 ‘지역브랜드 상설공연’ 추진에 나섰다.

이날 참석한 심의위원들은 지난 5월 17일부터 31일까지 온라인 공개 모집을 통해 선정된 심의위원으로, 사업 추진에 필요한 심의, 평가, 컨설팅, 자문 등을 제공할 수 있는 문화예술 전문가들이다.

심의위원들은 △예산 편성, 공연내용 및 규모, 추진 방향의 적절성에 대한 심의 △2023년 신라문화기반지역브랜드 상설공연을 위한 공연 및 단체 선정 △상설공연 운영 및 공연제작에 대한 컨설팅 등 사업추진에 따른 자문 역할을 하게 된다.

이에 따라 심의위원들은 올 12월까지 신규 제작공연 단체 선정 및 시연회와 상설공연 단체 선정 및 현장평가 등을 비롯 연말평가와 차기년도 사업계획 논의 등의 활동을 진행하게 된다.

정규식 사무총장은 심의위원회 인사말을 통해 “인피니티 플라잉과 함께 지난 10여 년간 지역의 대표 브랜드 공연으로서의 명성을 이어갈 수 있도록, 새로운 지역 브랜드 상설공연을 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
