공원측은 이날을 ‘동국 데이(day)’로 정하고, 문화센터 문무홀에서 열리고 있는 ‘더 쇼! 신라하다’ 공연 전석을 대여해 동국제강 포항공장 임직원 가족들이 오붓하게 공연을 관람할 수 있도록 했다.

또한 공연 후 뮤지컬 출연 배우인 김동완씨의 송년의 밤 축하인사와 경품추첨 및 상품 전달의 시간을 마련해 분위기를 북돋워줬다.

이번 행사에는 동국제강 임직원 및 가족 등 400여명이 함께 했으며, 뮤지컬 ‘더 쇼! 신라하다’ 공연 관람 후 자체적으로 준비한 시상 및 경품행사를 진행하며, 즐거운 송년의 밤을 보냈다.
