【브레이크뉴스 경주】이성현 기자=경주엑스포공원은 갑진년 새해를 맞아 지난 1월 1일 공원을 방문한 새해 첫 입장객, 첫 ‘용띠’ 입장객, 이름에 ‘용’자가 포함된 첫 입장객 등 3명에게 ‘럭키박스’ 증정과 함께 동반자들이 무료입장하는 ‘갑진 행운’ 이벤트를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

그 결과 2024년 첫 방문객으로는 지역주민인 이명우(56세)씨 였다. 9시 50분경 혼자 경주엑스포대공원에 도착해 첫 방문객의 행운을 가져갔다.

이명우씨는 지역주민이라 보문관광단지에 운동하려 왔다가 경주엑스포대공원을 방문했는데 첫 방문객이 됐다며, “2024년 올해는 좋은 일이 더 많이 생길 것 같은 기분이 든다. 감사하다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

첫 ‘용띠’ 입장객의 행운은 김포에서 온 이은정(25세)씨에게 돌아갔다. 이은정씨는 이벤트 내용을 알려드리는 과정에서 첫 용띠 방문객으로 확인돼 선물을 받는 행운을 얻었다.

이은정씨는 “새해를 받아 경주를 오게 되고, 첫 방문지로 경주엑스포대공원을 찾았는데 뜻밖의 선물을 받게 돼 너무 기쁘다”며 행운기념 사진을 찍었다.

이름에 ‘용’자가 포함된 첫 입장객의 행운은 서울에서 온 아들, 딸 남매를 둔 아빠 김범용(46세)씨다. 부인과 자녀들을 데리고 인터넷으로 검색해서 온 경주 가족여행 중 공원을 방문했다가 행운을 잡았다.

김범용씨는 “직원분들이 너무 친절하게 경주타워에 대해 설명해 주시고 기분 좋게 맞이해 주셔서 너무 감사하다. 새해에는 좋은 일들이 있을 것 같다”고 소감을 말했다.

김일곤 사장직무대행은 “2024년 갑진년 새해를 맞아 공원을 찾는 관람객들에게 행복한 추억과 즐거움을 주기 위해 이벤트를 기획했다”며 “갑진년에는 경주엑스포대공원을 찾는 모든 입장객들이 풍요의 상징인 청룡의 기운을 받아 넉넉한 한해가 되기를 기원한다”고 말했다.
