【브레이크뉴스 경북 】이성현 기자=경북도내 전역에 많은 눈이 예고된 가운데 경상북도가 대응 체계를 선제적 조기 가동에 나섰다.

경북도는 9일 오전 9시부터 초기 대응 비상근무계를 시작으로 저녁 6시부터는 재난안전대책본부 비상1단계로 격상했다.  

경북도내에는 9일 저녁부터 10일 아침까지 대설이 예보된 상태다. 경북도는 아침 출근길 불편을 최소화하고 안전한 차량이동을 위해 상습 강설결빙구간 등 취약구간을 중심으로 제설제를 사전살포 하는 등 겨울철 재난대비에 선제적으로 대응하기로 했다.

특히, 이미 살얼음 구간을 경험한 바 있는 구간에 대하여는 교통 안전을 위한 대대적 홍보 및 지원에 나설 방침이다. 

또, 경북도는 특보가 없더라도 강설이 예보된 지역은 도로결빙을 예방하기 위해 신속한 제설과 도로 순찰을 강화하고, 제설제 살포를 지속적으로 실시할 계획이다. 

박성수 경북도 안전행정실장은 “비 또는 눈이 내린 후 도로 결빙이 우려되니 되도록 외출을 삼가하고 출근할 때는 대중교통을 이용해 주시길 바란다”며 “사후 복구보다는 사전점검·보완을 통한 예방이 더 중요하다. 축사·비닐하우스 등 취약시설에 대한 점검을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.

한편, 기상청에 따르면 9일 오후부터 경북북부 내륙에 비 또는 눈을 시작으로 10일까지 경북남부내륙, 경북동해안, 울릉도‧독도로 확대될 것으로 전망된다. 특히, 경북북부 및 남서내륙, 북동산지는 5~10cm의 눈과 중남부내륙, 경북동해안에는 1~5cm 내외의 눈이 내릴 것으로 예보됐다.
