지난 2월 경상북도가 저출산, 지역소멸이라는 사회적 문제에 직면하여‘저출생과의 전쟁’을 선포함에 따라 공사는 수요자 맞춤형 양질의 주거공급이라는 목표를 설정했다.

목표달성을 위해 공사는 경북 전역의 공공임대주택 공급현황을 조사·분석하여 지역 밀착형, 양육 친화형 주택공급 대책을 수립했다.

이어 지난 4월 1일‘지역 밀착형 공공임대주택’공급을 위해 2024년도 약정형 매입임대주택 매입을 공고했다.

지역 밀착형 공공임대주택이란, 지역·기관별 차별화를 위해 상대적으로 임대주택 공급이 적은 인구감소지역에 지자체와 연계하여 임대주택을 공급하는 사업이다.

접수는 4월 1일부터 5월 3일까지 신청받으며, 매입대상지역은 영주시, 영천시, 영덕군, 청도군, 고령군이다. 매입유형(일반형, 청년형, 신혼부부형)에 따라 전용면적 기준 30㎡ ~ 85㎡의 주택을 매입한다.

특히, 양육친화형 주택공급을 위해 돌봄/보육시설, 청년 창업시설 등의 지역 거점이 될 수 있는 커뮤니티 공간을 포함한 주택, 수요자 만족도를 고려한 공동주택 계획, 도심 내 빈집 철거 후 신축 등 사회 전반적인 문제를 해결할 수 있는 주택 매입을 우대하고 있다.

공사는 22년 기존주택 매입임대사업 150가구 매입을 시작으로, 23년 약정형 매입임대사업 방식으로 200가구 주택매입 약정 체결했다.

약정형 매입임대사업은 주택 품질제고를 위해 공사에서 직접 설계단계부터 참여하여 6단계의 품질점검 후 매입하는 형식이다. 특히, 공유주거 사업(입주민에게 코인세탁방, 창고 등의 공유공간을 제공하는 주택유형), 지자체와 협업하여 지역활력타운 조성 등 사업영역을 확대하였다.

경상북도개발공사 이재혁 사장은 “경상북도 도민이라면 주거 불안을 느끼지 않을 수 있도록, 도민이 빈틈없는 주거복지사업을 체감할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”며 주거복지사업 확대에 대한 의지를 밝혔다.
