이날 경북·전남개발공사 직원들은 전남 담양군 고서면 일대를 찾아, 동절기 난방비 부담을 느끼는 취약계층을 위한 연탄나눔 봉사활동과 실생활에서 유용하게 사용가능한 안전구급함 지원, 주거시설 개보수 지원 등 다양한 재능기부 활동을 펼쳤다.

이 날, 이재혁 경상북도개발공사 사장과 장충모 전남개발공사 사장은 공사비 지원금 26,000,000원을 전달하였으며, 앞으로도 영·호남 상생 을 위한 공동 사회공헌 사업을 지속·확대해나갈 것임을 밝혔다.

영·호남 행복동행하우스는 경북·전남개발공사가 ‘영·호남 상생협력, 지역사회 경영수익 환원, 양사의 지속적 협력체계 구축’을 위한 업무협약을 체결하고 개발공사의 본 업(業)을 활용한 사회공헌 사업을 발굴하겠다는 약속 아래 2023년부터 시작한 양사의 대표적인 공동 사회공헌활동이다.

이재혁 경상북도개발공사 사장은 “상반기 경북 예천에서 실시한 ‘영·호남 행복동행하우스’ 3호점 준공에 이어, 이번 하반기 전남 담양군에서 4호점을 준공해서 뜻깊다.”며, “앞으로도 지역 상생발전의 선도 공기업으로서 서로 협력하여 다양한 사회공헌활동을 추진해나가겠다.”고 전했다.
