【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북테크노파크(원장 하인성)는 지난 10월 21일부터 28일까지 청년 창업가의 해외 진출을 지원하기 위한 ‘금호이웃사촌마을 글로벌 진출 프로그램’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

금호 이웃사촌마을 조성사업의 일환으로 진행된 이번 프로그램은 기찬보일러(김경욱 이사/산·농업용 냉난방기 제조), 운진(허진호 대표/건강기능식품 제조), 파우나라이프케어(서주원 대표/비건가죽 코팅제 제조), 티웰(김건우 대표/기능성 펫푸드), 뭉스랩(박지윤 대표/화장품 제조) 5개 社가 참여했다.

이번 프로그램에 참여한 5개 社는 금호 이웃사촌마을 조성사업에서 운영하고 있는 청년창업기업 액셀러레이팅 교육에 참여하여 글로벌 진출을 위한 IR/Pitching 역량 강화 컨설팅 교육을 받았다.

청년창업가를 위한 액셀러레이팅 교육은 맞춤형 전문가 컨설팅, 잠재 파트너사 매칭데이 등 더욱 알찬 프로그램을 구성하여 2025년에도 계속될 전망이다.

금호이웃사촌마을 글로벌 진출 프로그램은 현지 법률 특강 및 글로벌 액셀러레이팅 프로그램 및 사례 소개, 현지 투자자 IR/Pitching 및 1:1 상담, 산타클라라 한인상공회의소와 업무협약, 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 실리콘밸리무역관 및 현지 투자 전문가 컨설팅 등으로 구성돼 진행됐다.

이번 프로그램은 청년 창업기업이 현지 투자자와 1:1 컨설팅 및 상담 시간을 가질 수 있도록 했으며, 특히 프로그램 동안 기찬보일러는 ‘Innos Hydronic Inc’ 미국 현지 에이전시와 30억 수주계약 및 협약식을 가지며 미국 진출을 위한 초석을 다졌다.

또한, 산타클라라 한인상공회의소와 체결한 이번 업무협약을 시작으로 금호이웃사촌마을 청년창업기업 및 경북 유망 기업들이 해외 시장에 성공적으로 진출할 수 있도록 상호 협력해 나갈 예정이다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “금호이웃사촌마을의 잠재성 있는 청년창업기업과 경북지역의 우수 스타트업들이 글로벌 시장에서 경쟁력을 강화하고, 새로운 기회를 발굴할 수 있도록 전심전력(全心全力) 하겠다”고 말했다.

 Gyeongbuk TP, ‘Geumho Neighborhood Village Global Expansion Program’ Completed

Gyeongbuk Techno Park (Director Ha In-seong) announced that it conducted the ‘Geumho Neighborhood Village Global Expansion Program’ from October 21 to 28 to support overseas expansion of young entrepreneurs.

This program, which was conducted as part of the Geumho Neighborhood Village Development Project, was participated by five companies: Gichan Boiler (Director Kim Kyung-wook/Agricultural and Industrial Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturer), Unjin (CEO Heo Jin-ho/Health Functional Food Manufacturer), Powna Life Care (CEO Seo Ju-won/Vegan Leather Coating Agent Manufacturer), T-Well (CEO Kim Geon-woo/Functional Pet Food), and Mungs Lab (CEO Park Ji-yoon/Cosmetics Manufacturer).

The five companies that participated in this program participated in the youth startup company acceleration education operated by the Geumho Neighborhood Village Development Project and received consulting education to strengthen IR/Pitching capabilities for global expansion.

The accelerating education for young entrepreneurs is expected to continue in 2025 with more substantial programs such as customized expert consulting and potential partner matching days.

The Geumho Neighborhood Village Global Expansion Program consisted of local law special lectures, global accelerating programs and case introductions, local investor IR/Pitching and 1:1 consultations, a business agreement with the Santa Clara Korean Chamber of Commerce, and consulting with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Silicon Valley Trade Center and local investment experts.

This program allowed young entrepreneurs to have 1:1 consulting and consultations with local investors, and during the program, Gichan Boiler signed a 3 billion won contract and agreement ceremony with the US local agency ‘Innos Hydronic Inc.’, laying the foundation for entering the US market.

In addition, starting with this business agreement with the Santa Clara Korean Chamber of Commerce, we plan to cooperate with each other so that Geumho Neighborhood Village youth startups and promising Gyeongbuk companies can successfully enter overseas markets.
