금호 이웃사촌마을 조성사업은 소멸 위기에 놓인 지방과 불균형한 인구 구조에 적극적으로 대응하기 위해 2022년부터 추진되고 있으며, ▲일자리 창출 ▲주거 확충 ▲생활 여건 개선 ▲공동체 활성화 ▲청년 유입이라는 5대 핵심 분야를 중심으로 다양한 활력 증진 사업을展開하고 있다.

이번 ‘청년모임 및 동아리 활동 지원사업’은 전국 각지의 청년들의 창업 아이디어 발굴 및 창업 활동 지원, 지역 활성화 콘텐츠 개발, 그리고 금호 지역의 매력을 널리 알리는 홍보 활동 지원을 통해 금호 지역의 숨겨진 잠재력을 최대한으로 끌어올리는 데 목적을 두고 있다.

지난 활동들을 통해 금호 지역 주민들의 주거 환경 개선 봉사, 지역 홍보 영상 제작, 지역 특산물을 활용한 혁신적인 화장품 개발 등 다양한 창의적인 프로젝트들이 성공적으로 추진되어 지역 사회에 의미 있는 긍정적인 변화를 가져왔다.

지원 분야는 총 세 가지로 나뉜다. ❶ 창의적인 창업 아이템 발굴 및 금호 지역 특색을 살린 사업 아이템 창출을 지원하는 창업 동아리, ❷ 금호 지역 일대의 매력을 발굴하고 활성화 콘텐츠 개발 활동을 지원하는 활동 동아리, ❸ 금호 지역 전반의 숨겨진 매력을 효과적으로 홍보하는 활동을 지원하는 홍보 동아리이다.

이번 모집을 통해 전국에 거주하는 만 19세부터 45세의 청년 5인 이상으로 구성된 동아리 총 9개 팀 이상을 선발할 예정이다. 최종 선정된 동아리에게는 각 팀별 맞춤형 전문 멘토 매칭 및 컨설팅 기회가 제공되며, 매월 금호 지역을 직접 방문하여 팀 미션을 수행하고, 금호 이웃사촌마을 관련 다양한 행사에 참여할 수 있는 특별한 기회가 주어진다.

참가 신청 및 접수는 금호 이웃사촌마을 및 경북테크노파크 공식 홈페이지를 통한 온라인 접수로 진행되며, 최종 합격자 발표는 5월 30일(금)에 있을 예정이다.

하인성 경북테크노파크 원장은 “전국의 열정적인 청년들이 아름다운 영천 금호에서 함께 어울리며 창의적이고 자유로운 활동을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하고자 이번 사업을 추진하게 되었다”며, “이번 동아리 활동을 통해 금호 지역의 아직 발견되지 않은 숨겨진 가능성을 새롭게 발견하고, 청년들의 참신한 아이디어와 뜨거운 열정이 지역 변화의 중심 동력이 되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

This "Youth Group and Club Activity Support Project" aims to maximize the hidden potential of the Geumho region by discovering startup ideas and supporting startup activities of young people from all over the country, developing content to revitalize the region, and supporting promotional activities to widely publicize the charm of the Geumho region.

Through past activities, various creative projects such as volunteer work to improve the living environment of Geumho residents, production of local promotional videos, and development of innovative cosmetics using local specialties were successfully carried out, bringing about meaningful and positive changes to the local community.

The support areas are divided into three categories: ❶ Startup clubs that support the discovery of creative startup items and the creation of business items that utilize the characteristics of the Geumho region, ❷ Activity clubs that support the discovery of the charms of the Geumho region and the development of revitalized content, and ❸ Promotion clubs that support activities to effectively promote the hidden charms of the Geumho region as a whole.

Through this recruitment, a total of 9 club teams consisting of 5 or more young people aged 19 to 45 residing nationwide will be selected. The final selected clubs will be provided with customized professional mentor matching and consulting opportunities for each team, and will be given special opportunities to visit the Geumho region in person every month to perform team missions and participate in various events related to the Geumho Neighborhood Village.

Applications for participation and registration will be accepted online through the official website of Geumho Neighborhood Village and Gyeongbuk Technopark, and the final list of successful applicants will be announced on Friday, May 30.
