【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북테크노파크(이하 경북TP)는 지난 19일 경북TP 국제회의실에서 지역기업의 ESG 경영의 일환으로 탄소중립과 탄소국경조정제도(CBAM) 세미나를 개최했다고 20일 밝혔다.

경북TP에 따르면 이날 세미나는 EU의 CBAM 시행에 따라 지역기업들이 선제적으로 대응하고 전략 수립에 도움이 되도록 탄소중립 현황과 대응 방안 정보를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

특히 경북지역의 신소재부품가공산업과 첨단디지털부품산업의 기업들이 다수 분포되어 있어 제품 전 과정에 걸쳐 탄소를 규제하는 전 과정평가(LCA)에 대한 내용도 포함됐다.

또한 중소벤처기업진흥공단의 중소기업 탄소중립 전환지원과 CBAM 대응 인프라구축사업 안내를 통해 지역기업이 활용할 수 있는 지원사업의 정보도 제공했다.

하인성 경북TP 원장은 “경북지역의 기업이 탄소중립과 관련한 글로벌 요구사항에 대하여 대응 방안을 수립하고, 지역기업의 미래를 준비할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

In addition, information on support projects that local companies can utilize was provided through the Small and Medium Venture Business Corporation's support for small and medium-sized businesses to transition to carbon neutrality and guidance on CBAM response infrastructure construction projects.
