【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이동협)는 3월 20일 본회의장에서 제289회 임시회 제1차 본회의를 열었다. 본회의에서는 다양한 시정 질문과 안건이 다뤄졌다.

회의에 앞서 한순희 의원과 오상도 의원은 각각 '경주시 스마트행정 도입 및 활성화', '감포읍 발전 방안'을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 실시했다.

이날 본회의에서는 의원들의 시정질문이 이어졌다.

최재필 의원은 미등록 경로당에 대한 정부 지원이 중단된 현 상황에서 경주시의 대책을 질문했다. 송호준 부시장은 정부가 '준경로당 제도'를 도입하고, 경주시가 예산 확보와 관련 조례 개정을 통해 지원할 계획을 답변했다.

제289회 임시회는 21일부터 27일까지 휴회기간을 두고 상임위원회에서 조례안과 동의안 등 11건의 안건을 심사할 예정이다. 경주시의회가 발의한 안건으로는 ‘경주시 향우회 교류협력 및 지원에 관한 조례안’, ‘경주시 동학기념관 및 교육수련관 설치·운영 조례 전부개정조례안’ 등 총 6건이 있다.

이동협 경주시의회 의장은 개회사에서 “바쁜 일정 속에서도 시민의 안전과 경주시의 발전을 위해 최선을 다해 주는 공직자들에게 감사의 말씀을 전하며, 정치적 혼란 속에서도 경주의 발전을 위해 흔들림 없이 업무에 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.

제289회 임시회는 28일 제2차 본회의에서 조례안 및 일반안건 심의를 마치고 9일간의 일정을 마무리할 예정이다.

The 289th extraordinary session will be recessed from the 21st to the 27th, and the standing committee will review 11 agenda items, including ordinances and consent motions. In his opening remarks, Gyeongju City Council Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the public officials who are doing their best for the safety of citizens and the development of Gyeongju City despite their busy schedules, and I ask that you continue to do your best in your work without wavering for the development of Gyeongju even amidst political turmoil.”

The 289th extraordinary session is scheduled to conclude its nine-day schedule after completing the deliberation of the ordinance and general agenda items at the second plenary session on the 28th.
