본회의에 앞서 △정희택 의원은 '경주시 사업추진력 부재' △이경희 의원은 '경주시 외국인 지원·정책 전담부서 신설' △오상도 의원은 '해안을 활용한 관광자원 개발' △임활 의원은 '2025 APEC 정상회의 성공개최를 위한 우리의 마음가짐'을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 진행했다.

이어 본회의에서는 '2025년도 제2회 추가경정예산안', '2025년도 제2회 기금운용계획 변경안', '2025년도 행정사무감사 결과보고서 채택의 건'과 함께 조례안 9건, 동의안 7건 등 총 19건의 안건을 심의했다.

심의 결과, 2025년도 제1회 추경 2조 2,600억 원보다 1,125억 원 증액된 2조 3,725억 원 규모의 제2회 추경 세출예산안 중 일반회계 3,000만 원, 특별회계 7억 1,867만 원이 삭감됐다. 또 '경주시 기업사랑 및 기업활동 촉진 등에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안'은 수정 가결됐으며, 나머지 안건은 모두 원안대로 가결됐다.

이동협 의장은 “짧은 임시회 기간에도 제2회 추가경정예산안을 비롯한 다양한 안건을 면밀히 심사해주신 동료 의원 여러분과 협조해주신 공직자들께 감사드린다”며, “코앞으로 다가온 APEC 2025 KOREA 준비에 차질이 없도록 만전을 기해 달라”고 당부했다.
