【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(DGFEZ, 청장 김병삼)이 지난 13일 중국 중한(창춘)국제협력시범구와 양 지역 간 투자유치 협력 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 16일 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 한중 간 산업 교류와 실질적인 투자 유치를 확대하기 위한 전략적 파트너십 구축 차원에서 마련됐다.

협약식에는 류나이쥔 중한(창춘)국제협력시범구 당위원회 서기와 장춘다 창춘시 부시장을 비롯한 창춘시 정부 대표단이 참석해 양 지역 간 미래 협력방안에 대해 심도 깊은 논의를 나눴다.

중한(창춘)국제협력시범구는 2020년 중국 국무원의 승인을 받아 조성된 중국 유일의 중·한 협력 국가급 시범구로, 동북아 및 글로벌 시장을 겨냥한 국제 협력 플랫폼 역할을 수행하고 있다. 현재 시범구에는 의료기기, 건강식품, 디지털경제 등 20여 개 산업단지가 조성돼 있으며, 이 중 한국 기업 21개사가 입주해 활발히 활동 중이다. 대표적인 입주 기업으로는 광학 디스플레이용 접착제를 생산하는 ㈜티엠에스가 있다.

이번 MOU를 통해 양 기관은 ▲양국 기업의 투자 유치 촉진, ▲첨단장비 제조, ▲광전자정보, ▲첨단의료기기 및 보건의료 분야 등 다양한 산업 영역에서의 실질적 교류와 협력을 강화하기로 뜻을 모았다. 또한, 정기적인 실무 협의를 통해 협력 관계를 지속 발전시켜 나갈 계획이다.

김병삼 대구경북경제자유구역청장은 “DGFEZ는 바이오 산업과 미래 모빌리티 산업 관련 전시회 참가 등 중국 기업 유치를 위한 다각적인 활동을 활발히 펼치고 있다”며, “이는 창춘시의 주력 산업과도 접점이 많아 상호 간 시너지 창출이 기대된다”고 밝혔다.

그는 이어 “이번 MOU를 계기로 양 기관 간 협력은 더욱 구체화될 것이며, 다양한 산업 분야에서 실질적인 투자 성과를 창출할 수 있도록 전방위적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 강조했다.

Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority Signs MOU with China's Sino-Korean (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone for Investment Attraction Cooperation

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (DGFEZ, Director Kim Byung-sam) announced on the 16th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with China's Sino-Korean (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone on the 13th to promote investment attraction cooperation between the two regions.

This agreement was prepared as part of the strategic partnership to expand industrial exchanges and actual investment attraction between Korea and China.

At the signing ceremony, Liu Naijun, Secretary of the Sino-Korean (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone Party Committee, and Changchun City Deputy Mayor Zhang Chunda attended and had in-depth discussions on future cooperation plans between the two regions.

The Sino-Korean (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone is the only national-level Sino-Korean cooperation demonstration zone in China, established in 2020 with the approval of the State Council of China, and serves as an international cooperation platform targeting the Northeast Asian and global markets. Currently, the demonstration zone has about 20 industrial complexes, including medical devices, health food, and digital economy, and 21 Korean companies are actively operating there. A representative company that has moved in is TMS Co., Ltd., which produces adhesives for optical displays.

Through this MOU, the two organizations agreed to strengthen practical exchanges and cooperation in various industrial fields, including ▲promoting investment attraction by companies from both countries, ▲manufacturing of advanced equipment, ▲optical electronics information, ▲advanced medical devices, and healthcare. In addition, they plan to continue to develop cooperative relations through regular practical consultations.

Kim Byung-sam, the head of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority, said, “DGFEZ is actively carrying out various activities to attract Chinese companies, such as participating in exhibitions related to the bio industry and future mobility industry,” and added, “This also has many points of contact with Changchun City’s main industries, so we expect to create synergy between them.” He continued, “With this MOU as an opportunity, the cooperation between the two organizations will become more concrete, and we will not spare any support in all directions so that we can create real investment results in various industrial fields.”
