이번 행사는 대구·경북경제자유구역 내 바이오헬스 분야의 유망 기업을 발굴하고, 투자 유치 지원을 통해 입주기업의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다. 대구경북경제자유구역청이 주최하고 포항테크노파크가 주관했으며, 입주기업과 벤처캐피털(VC) 투자사, 유관기관 관계자 등이 참석했다.

공모를 통해 선정된 ▲㈜티센바이오팜 ▲㈜에이엔폴리 ▲쓰리브룩스테라퓨틱스㈜ ▲㈜바이오엔 ▲㈜인트인 등 5개 기업이 IR 발표 기업으로 참가했다. 투자사로는 인라이트벤처스㈜, 쿼드자산운용, IM투자파트너스, 스파크랩파트너스, 대경기술지주, TWGF파트너스, 파트너스라운지 등 7개 기관이 함께했다.

행사는 인라이트벤처스 손민호 부사장의 ‘기업의 성장 단계별 자금조달 전략’ 특별강연으로 시작됐다. 이어 ▲알츠하이머 신약 개발(쓰리브룩스테라퓨틱스㈜) ▲나노바이오 소재 응용 제품(㈜에이엔폴리) ▲세포 배양육 및 바이오 소재(㈜티센바이오팜) ▲비만 치료용 비강 스프레이(㈜바이오엔) ▲정자분석기 및 현미경(㈜인트인) 등 각 기업의 핵심 기술과 사업 아이템을 소개하는 IR 발표가 진행됐다.

기업들은 15분간의 발표 후 10분간 투자사와 질의응답 시간을 가지며 기술력과 성장 가능성을 어필했다. 현장에서는 투자 가치와 사업성에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 이어지는 등 열띤 분위기가 연출됐다.

대구경북경제자유구역청은 이번 행사를 통해 지역 바이오헬스케어 기업들이 투자사와 직접 교류하며 실질적인 투자 기회를 모색할 수 있는 기반을 마련했다고 밝혔다. 향후 지속적인 네트워킹과 투자 상담을 통해 지역 바이오산업 발전과 경제 성장에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

김병삼 청장은 “이번 행사가 바이오헬스 기업들에게는 기술사업화를 위한 자금 확보의 기회가 되고, 투자사에는 유망한 투자처를 발굴할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역 투자 생태계 조성과 입주기업의 지속 가능한 성장을 위해 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Kim Byung-sam) held the '2025 DGFEZ Bio-Healthcare Corporate Investment Networking Day' in the A/V conference room of the Pohang Technopark headquarters building on October 23rd.

The event was designed to identify promising bio-health companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone and strengthen their competitiveness by attracting investment. Hosted by the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority and organized by Pohang Technopark, the event was attended by resident companies, venture capital firms, and officials from related organizations.

Five companies, selected through a public offering, participated as IR presenters: Thyssen Biopharm, AN Poly, Threebrook Therapeutics, BioN, and Intin. Seven investors participated, including Enlight Ventures, Quad Asset Management, IM Investment Partners, Sparklab Partners, Daekyung Technology Holdings, TWGF Partners, and Partners Lounge.

The event began with a special lecture titled "Funding Strategies for Each Growth Stage" by Son Min-ho, Vice President of Enlight Ventures. This was followed by IR presentations introducing each company's core technologies and business items, including: Alzheimer's drug development (Three Brooks Therapeutics), nanobiomaterial application products (AN Poly), cell-cultured meat and biomaterials (Thyssen Biopharm), obesity treatment nasal spray (BioN), and sperm analyzers and microscopes (Intin).

Following 15-minute presentations, the companies engaged in a 10-minute Q&A session with investors, demonstrating their technological prowess and growth potential. The event was lively, with in-depth discussions on investment value and business viability.

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority announced that this event provided a foundation for local biohealthcare companies to directly interact with investors and explore practical investment opportunities. It is expected that continued networking and investment consultations will contribute to the development of the local bioindustry and economic growth.
