이번 협약을 통해 각 기관은 지구 내 통신네트워크 시설 고도화와 IT 인프라 점검 및 구축 등 AIDX 전환을 추진한다. 이는 입주기업의 영업, 생산, 재무 등 경영 전반의 관리 효율을 높이고 디지털 경쟁력을 확보하는 데 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
2025년 현재, 영천첨단부품소재산업지구는 자동차 부품 산업의 중심지이자 글로벌 첨단 수송기계부품소재 산업 허브로 자리매김하고 있으며, 95개 기업이 입주해 활발한 비즈니스 활동을 이어가고 있다.
