【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 김병삼, 이하 경자청)은 2일 오전 11시 한중엔시에스 회의실에서 경상북도건축사회 영천지역건축사회(회장 김무섭), 영천첨단부품소재산업지구 입주기업협의회(회장 김환식)와 화재 피해 복구 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 지난 8월 3일 영천첨단산업지구 내 대달산업에서 발생한 화재(폭발)로 인근 기업 공장이 파손된 데 따른 후속 조치다. 단지 조기 복구와 피해기업 지원을 위해 행정·재정적 협력을 강화하기 위함이다.

경자청은 사고 직후 영천시청, 대구경북지방중소벤처기업청, 중소벤처기업진흥공단, 금융기관 등과 긴급대책회의를 열어 긴급경영안정 자금 지원과 같은 지원책을 마련해왔다. 또한 건축 인허가 절차 간소화, 시설 안전 점검, 구조진단 지원 등을 통해 피해기업의 조기 정상화를 도모하고 있다.

특히 이번 협약에 따라 피해 공장 건축물의 증축·개축·재축 및 대수선 인허가 시 건축 설계비와 감리비를 최대 50%까지 감면해 기업의 비용 부담을 완화하기로 했다. 이를 통해 중소기업의 조기 경영 안정과 단지 정상화에 실질적 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
