청도군(군수 김하수)은 7일 경상북도가 주관한 ‘제54회 보건의 날’ 기념 행사에서 ‘2026년 보건의료사업 유공자 포상’ 부문에 공무원 1명과 민간인 2명이 도지사 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

이번 포상은 보건의료 현장에서 도민 건강 증진과 의료 서비스 향상에 기여한 유공자를 발굴·격려하기 위해 마련됐다.

청도군에서는 지역 공공보건 발전에 기여한 배윤혁 주무관과 치매 예방 및 정신건강 증진 활동에 힘써온 이강희 씨, 조희표 씨가 수상의 주인공으로 선정됐다.

이들은 각각 보건의료 최일선에서 헌신적인 활동을 펼치며 지역사회 건강 증진에 기여한 공로를 인정받았다.

남중구 청도군보건소장은 “어려운 여건 속에서도 군민의 건강을 지키기 위해 묵묵히 헌신해 온 수상자들께 깊이 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 군민이 체감할 수 있는 고품질 보건의료 서비스를 제공하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 이번 시상은 ‘제54회 보건의 날’ 기념 행사와 함께 진행됐으며, 청도군은 이를 계기로 지역 보건의료 네트워크를 강화하고 촘촘한 보건 안전망 구축에 더욱 속도를 낼 방침이다.

Cheongdo County (County Governor Kim Ha-su) announced on the 7th that one public official and two private citizens received the Governor's Commendation in the "2026 Healthcare Project Meritorious Service Award" category at the "54th Health Day" commemorative event hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.

This award ceremony was established to identify and encourage individuals who have contributed to promoting the health of residents and improving medical services in the healthcare field.

From Cheongdo County, Chief Officer Bae Yun-hyeok, who contributed to the development of local public health, and Mr. Lee Kang-hee and Mr. Cho Hee-pyo, who have dedicated themselves to dementia prevention and mental health promotion activities, were selected as the recipients.

They were recognized for their contributions to promoting community health through their dedicated activities on the front lines of healthcare.
