1부 행사는 신입생 대표인 한의예과 이도훈 학생의 입학선서와 변창훈 총장 환영인사, 총동창회장 축사 순으로 진행되었으며 2부에서는 대학홍보 영상과 총학생회의 다채로운 축하 공연으로 진행되었다.

변창훈 총장은 신입생 환영사를 통해 “4차 산업 혁명시대를 선도해 나가는 대구한의대학교에 새 가족이 된 신입생들의 입학을 축하한다”고 전했다.
