지난 8월 ‘제5차 국도건설 5개년 계획’ 일괄 예비타당성조사를 최종 통과한 국도 30호선 대구 다사에서 경북 성주 선남 간 확장사업이 국토교통부로부터 사업의 시급성을 인정받아 내년부터 설계용역에 들어간다.

22일 대구시에 따르면국도 30호선은 대구와 성주를 연결하는 광역교통 흐름을 담당하는 노선으로 주변 성서5차 산업단지, 성주 1, 2차 산업단지, 다사읍지역 신규 택지조성 등에 따른 지속적인 교통량의 증가로 인해 출·퇴근 시간엔 상습 교통 혼잡이 발생하는 구간이다.

그 중 특히 혼잡도가 심한 구간은 대구 다사 ~ 하빈 구간(7.9km)으로 확장계획 노선의 83%가 대구지역에 속해있고 지난 5년간 교통량이 7.1%나 증가하는 등 혼잡도가 급속히 가중되고 있어 이를 조기에 해소할 필요가 절실한 실정이다.

이에 대구시는 교통정체를 해소하기 위해 2017년 12월에 국토교통부의 ‘제5차 국도·국지도 5개년’ 계획에 본 노선이 반영될 수 있도록 건의하고 지역 국회의원과도 협업해 사업의 필요성을 정부에 꾸준히 제기하고 설득한 결과 21년 8월 일괄 예비타당성조사에 최종 통과해 사업추진이 확정됐다.

국도건설 5개년 계획 일괄 예타에 확정된 사업은 우선순위에 따라 5년 이내에 설계 및 공사 등이 순차적으로 추진된다. 

부산지방국토관리청이 지난 10월 설계용역시행을 위한 업체선정 입찰공고를 실시했고, 낙찰자가 결정되면 내년 1월부터 설계를 착수해 23년 말까지 2년간 시행될 예정이다.

설계가 추진되는 동안 대구시는 부산지방국토관리청과 협업해 다사·하빈지역 주민들이 공감하고 이용자의 안전과 편의성이 극대화되는 명품도로가 조기에 건설될 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력할 계획이다.

권영진 대구시장은 “이번 국도30호선 확장사업이 대구~성주 간 산업물동량 흐름의 원활로 물류비절감 등을 통해 광역생활권의 상생발전을 도모할 수 있는 만큼 본 사업이 조기에 완료될 수 있도록 국비 확보 등에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

While the design is being pursued, Daegu City plans to cooperate with the Busan Regional Land Management Agency to continuously strive to build a luxury road that is sympathetic to the residents of Dasa and Harbin and maximizes the safety and convenience of users.
