【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 13일 도청 본관 전정에서 2022년 제2회 건강나눔 공직자 사랑의 단체헌혈 행사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 헌혈은 경북헌혈의 달(1, 4, 7, 10월)로 지정된 두 번째 달로 봄의 따뜻한 건강기운을 담아 도청의 많은 직원들이 소중한 생명을 살리고자 바쁜 업무 중에 팔을 걷고 사랑 실천에 나섰다.

현재 혈액보유량은 코로나19 장기화와 위중증 환자 급증으로 ‘주의 단계’로 3일분 미만의 혈액을 보유하고 있는 실정이다.

이에 도는 공직자들의 헌혈문화를 확산하고 혈액수급 안정화 도모를 위해 대한적십자사 대구경북지사와 함께 분기별 단체헌혈을 시행하고 있다.

또 공직자 헌혈 참여 유도를 위해 공가사용 장려 및 각 시군별 헌혈권장에 관한 조례 제‧개정을 요청하는 등 헌혈을 독려하고 있다.

헌혈이 가능한 연령은 16세에서 69세까지로(65세 이상은 60세~64세까지 헌혈유경험자에 한함) 남자는 50Kg이상, 여자는 45Kg이상 건강한 사람이면 누구나 참가할 수 있다.

코로나19 백신접종 7일 후 확진자는 완치 후 4주가 지나면 헌혈을 할 수 있고, 코로나19 치료제 사용자도 완치일로부터 4주가 지나면 헌혈 이 가능하다.

헌혈자에게는 헌혈증서, 무료 혈액검사(혈액형, B형․C형간염, 간기능, 매독 등), 기념품 등의 혜택도 주어진다.

헌혈증서는 차후 헌혈자가 수혈이 필요한 경우 헌혈한 만큼의 수혈비용을 공제받을 수 있고, 질환이나 갑작스런 사고 등으로 혈액이 꼭 필요한 사람에게 양도해 귀중한 생명을 살리는 데 쓰일 수 있다.
