지난 6월 20일 대구교육청은 ‘강은희 교육감 2기 공약이행계획’수립을 위해 일선 교육현장의 교직원과 관리자, 전문위원 등 51명의 공약 추진위원회를 출범했다.
이어 오는 26일 열리는 이번 보고대회에서는 지난 6.1 지방선거에서 제시한 5대 공약의 이행을 위해 공약의 전략화, 26개의 정책과제 선정, 과제의 실천을 위한 65개의 세부 실천과제를 확정, 구체적인 이행계획을 수립하고 교육공동체와 시민을 대상으로 발표하며 공약이행의 약속을 더 굳건히 다진다.
이행계획 수립과정에 현장의 의견을 최우선으로 반영하기 위해, 교육공동체 대상 대구교육에 대한‘온라인 설문’ 및 학생, 학부모, 교직원들과 각각‘교육감과의 대화’를 실시하고 그 의견이 공약이행계획 수립에 적극적으로 반영되도록 노력해왔다.
또한, 교육전문가로 구성된 7명의 전문위원들이 5개 공약분과 활동에 함께 참여하여 정책 우선순위, 실행 가능성, 기대효과에 대한 자문을 주기적으로 실시하였고, 79명으로 구성된 학계. 지역사회, 교육계 원로들로 구성된 자문위원들로부터 다양한 의견을 받아 이행계획에 반영했다.
