이에 대해 강은희 대구시교육감은 “이 사실을 알지 못했던 것은 제 불찰”이라며 “경찰청에 청소년 접근 제한 협조를 요청하고, 교육청에 직접 조사 권한은 없지만 관계 기관과 함께 재발을 막겠다”고 답했다.

서 의원은 내년에도 같은 행사가 예정된 만큼, 이번에는 꼭 사전 예방 대책을 마련해야 한다고 거듭 강조했다.
