【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 지역 일반계 고등학교가 올해 추첨배정에서 모집정원을 모두 채웠다. 

지난해 정원 미달로 어려움을 겪었던 것과 달리, 올해는 학생들의 지원이 몰리며 자리 걱정 없이 신입생을 맞이하게 됐다.

올해 대구 지역 65개 추첨배정고에는 모두 1만 4,912명(남학생 7,381명, 여학생 7,531명)이 배정됐다.

대구 일반고는 올해 1만 4,674명을 모집한 가운데, 1만 4,957명이 지원했다. 결과적으로 1만 4,912명이 최종 배정되면서, 모든 정원을 채웠다.

학군별로 보면 1학군에는 8,270명, 2학군에는 6,642명이 각각 배정됐다. 학교 유형별로는 남학교 19곳, 여학교 15곳, 남녀공학 31곳이 포함됐다.

특히 수성구와 비수성구 학생들의 이동이 눈에 띄게 늘었다. 수성구에 거주하는 학생 중 비수성구 고등학교에 지원한 비율이 18.8%로, 전년 대비 3.6%포인트 올랐다. 실제 배정률도 12.5%로, 지난해보다 0.7%포인트 증가했다. 또 비수성구 학생들이 수성구 고등학교에 지원하거나 배정된 비율도 각각 3.2%, 3.4%로 소폭 상승했다.

직업계고에 대한 관심은 다소 줄었다. 대구 지역 15개 특성화고는 정원 3,365명에 3,722명이 지원해 평균 경쟁률 1.11대 1을 나타냈다. 마이스터고 5곳은 정원 618명에 1,069명이 지원, 1.73대 1의 경쟁률을 보였다. 이 수치는 지난해와 비교해 소폭 하락한 것으로, 일부 학생들이 일반고로 눈을 돌린 영향으로 풀이된다.

이번 추첨배정은 총 3단계에 걸쳐 진행됐다. 먼저 대구 전 지역의 추첨배정고 2곳을 선택하게 해 전체 정원의 50%를 배정했다. 이어 거주 학군 내 2곳에도 지원할 수 있게 해 10%를 배정했고, 나머지 40%는 주소지와 통학 시간 등을 반영한 무작위 배정 방식으로 진행됐다.

배정 결과는 29일 오전 11시, 각 중학교를 통해 안내된다. 이후 오전 11시 30분부터는 대구시교육청 누리집에서도 확인할 수 있다. 고등학교별 예비소집은 2월 3일, 각 학교 일정에 맞춰 자율적으로 실시될 예정이다.

This lottery allocation was conducted in three stages. First, students were given the option to choose two high schools across Daegu through a lottery system, allocating 50% of the total enrollment. Students were then allowed to apply to two schools within their residential districts, allocating 10%. The remaining 40% was randomly assigned based on factors such as address and commute time.

The allocation results will be announced at each middle school at 11:00 AM on the 29th. They will also be available on the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education website starting at 11:30 AM. Preliminary assembly for each high school will be held on February 3rd, at their own discretion, based on their respective schedules.
