【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국-몽골 교류 페스티벌 In Korea, 하늘과 바람과 별과 음악’이 지난 26일 대구예아람학교 아람아트홀에서 개최됐다.

양국의 35년 우정을 예술로 기념하기 위한 이번 페스티벌은 제이아트 앙상블이 주최하고, 한국장애인문화예술원이 후원, 대구예아람학교와 몽골 국립 오페라 및 발레 아카데미 극장이 협력해 진행됐다.

행사는 장애 예술인과 비장애 예술인이 한 무대에 올라 음악으로 우정과 화합을 나누는 장으로 마련됐다. 

페스티벌의 문은 대구예아람학교 위드심포니 오케스트라와 예아람 앙상블의 연주로 열렸다. 위드심포니 오케스트라는 ‘아름다운 나라’를 연주하며 한‧몽 양국 국민의 행복을 기원했다. 이어 예아람 앙상블은 아이유의 ‘드라마’를 선보여 다채로운 음악으로 관객들의 호응을 이끌어냈다.

이번 행사를 주최한 사회적협동조합 제이아트앙상블은 음악적 재능이 뛰어난 발달장애 연주자 7명(▲오보에 김윤상▲드럼 김유나▲마림바 심영건▲피아노 김초하▲피아노 이들림)으로 구성된 전문 연주팀으로 국내는 물론 해외에서도 활발히 활동하며 음악의 경계를 넓혀가고 있다.

이번 무대에서는 장애령 예술감독이 자작곡 ‘Liberty’를 연주하며 “음악이 장애의 경계를 넘어 자유와 희망의 언어가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

몽골 국립 오페라 극장 소속 단원들은 트럼본, 호른, 튜바로 구성된 앙상블 무대로 ‘Misty’를 연주해 한‧몽 예술 교류의 의미를 더했다. 김미연 제이아트 앙상블 이사장은 “이번 페스티벌이 양국 예술가들이 서로의 문화를 이해하고, 특히 장애 예술인들의 국경을 넘는 교류로 이어지길 바란다”고 말했다.

이날 공연의 마지막은 한국과 몽골의 모든 연주자가 함께 무대에 올라 ‘하나되어’를 연주하며 장식했다. 서로 다른 언어와 문화가 음악 안에서 하나가 되는 순간, 양국이 앞으로도 문화예술을 통해 꾸준히 교류할 수 있음을 보여주는 뜻깊은 자리였다.

The festival opened with performances by the Daegu Yearam School With Symphony Orchestra and the Yearam Ensemble. The With Symphony Orchestra performed "Beautiful Country" and wished for the happiness of the people of both Korea and Mongolia. The Yearam Ensemble then performed IU's "Drama," captivating the audience with its diverse musical performance.

The social cooperative J-Art Ensemble, which hosted this event, is a professional ensemble comprised of seven musicians with developmental disabilities (▲Oboe Kim Yun-sang ▲Drums Kim Yu-na ▲Marimba Shim Yeong-geon ▲Piano Kim Cho-ha ▲Piano Lee Deul-rim). They are actively expanding the boundaries of music both domestically and internationally.

Artistic Director Jang Ae-ryeong performed her own composition, "Liberty," expressing her hope that "music transcends the boundaries of disability and becomes a language of freedom and hope."

Members of the Mongolian National Opera Theater, consisting of trombone, horn, and tuba, performed "Misty," furthering the significance of artistic exchange between Korea and Mongolia. Kim Mi-yeon, Chairwoman of the J-Art Ensemble, stated, "I hope this festival will foster cultural understanding between artists from both countries and lead to cross-border exchanges, especially among artists with disabilities."

The concert concluded with a joint performance of "United" by all performers from Korea and Mongolia. This moment, where different languages ​​and cultures merged through music, marked a meaningful moment, demonstrating that the two countries can continue to engage in cultural and artistic exchanges.
