대구시교육청은 30일, A초등학교 영양교사 B씨를 둘러싼 사건에 대해 감사를 진행 중이라고 밝혔다.

이 사건은 지난해 5월 A초등학교 급식실에서 발생한 것으로 알려진다. 당시 B씨가 3학년 학생 3명에게 식판에 남은 깍두기 등의 잔반을 젓가락으로 직접 집어 먹도록 시켰다는 것이 학생과 학부모들의 진술이다.

피해 학생들은 당시 메스꺼움과 구토를 호소했고, 이 중 한 학생은 복통으로 약 한 달간 병원 치료를 받은 것으로 전해졌다. 다만 구체적인 진단명이나 의료기록 등은 공식적으로 확인되지 않았다.
