【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=2026학년도 대학수학능력시험(수능) 수학영역이 공교육 중심의 출제 기조를 유지하면서도 상위권 변별력을 한층 강화한 것으로 나타났다. 

전체적인 난이도는 지난해와 비슷한 수준이었으나, 종합적 사고력을 묻는 문항이 일부 포함돼 상위권 수험생들에게는 다소 까다롭게 느껴졌다는 분석이다.

대구시교육청에 따르면, 2026학년도 수학영역은 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정의 핵심 개념을 바탕으로 출제됐다. 공교육 내 학습만으로도 충분히 대비할 수 있도록 이른바 '킬러문항'을 제외했고, 불필요한 계산이나 지나친 개념을 요구하는 문제 없이 개념 이해와 논리적 추론 능력 평가에 중점을 뒀다는 설명이다.

공통과목인 수학Ⅰ에서는 지수함수와 로그함수 4문항, 삼각함수 3문항, 수열 4문항 등 모두 11문항이 출제됐다. 수학Ⅱ에서는 함수의 극한과 연속 2문항, 미분 5문항, 적분 4문항이 나왔다. 선택과목에서는 ▲확률과 통계는 경우의 수, 확률, 통계의 기본 개념 확인 ▲미적분은 수열의 극한, 미분법, 적분법 중심 문항 ▲기하는 이차곡선, 벡터, 공간도형 관련 문항이 각각 출제됐다.

상위권 변별 문항으로는 공통과목 22번(지수함수와 로그함수의 관계), 수학Ⅱ 21번(극한 개념 적용), 확률과 통계 30번(중복조합 활용), 미적분 30번(역함수 그래프 해석), 기하 30번(벡터 내적 활용) 등이 주요하게 언급됐다.

EBS 수능 연계율은 지난해와 마찬가지로 50% 수준을 유지했다. 공통과목에서는 12문항, 선택과목별로 각각 3문항이 EBS와 연계됐으며, 개념·원리 활용과 자료 변형, 상황 적용 방식 등으로 출제됐다.

The 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) mathematics section has been found to have significantly strengthened its ability to differentiate top students while maintaining its focus on public education.

While the overall difficulty level was similar to last year, some questions questioning comprehensive thinking skills were considered somewhat challenging for top test takers.

According to the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education, the 2026 mathematics section was based on core concepts from the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. To ensure sufficient preparation through public education alone, so-called "killer questions" were excluded. The focus was on assessing conceptual understanding and logical reasoning skills without requiring unnecessary calculations or excessive concepts.

The common subject, Mathematics I, contained 11 questions, including four on exponential and logarithmic functions, three on trigonometry, and four on sequences. Mathematics II included two questions on limits and continuity of functions, five on differentiation, and four on integration. Elective subjects included: ▲Probability and Statistics, which focused on the number of cases, probability, and basic concepts of statistics; ▲Calculus, which focused on limits of sequences, differentiation, and integration; and ▲Geometry, which focused on quadratic curves, vectors, and spatial figures.

High-scoring questions included: Question 22 in Common Subjects (Relationship between Exponential and Logarithmic Functions), Question 21 in Mathematics II (Application of Limit Concepts), Question 30 in Probability and Statistics (Using Multiple Combinations), Question 30 in Calculus (Interpretation of Inverse Function Graphs), and Question 30 in Geometry (Using Vector Inner Products).

The EBS-CSAT linkage rate remained at around 50%, the same as last year. Twelve questions in Common Subjects and three questions in each Elective Subject were linked to EBS. The questions focused on the application of concepts and principles, data transformation, and situational application.
