이에 강 교육감은 “올해는 예산 문제는 없다”면서도 “교육 자료로 바뀌면서 현장의 관심이 예전만 못한 건 맞다”고 말했다.

한편, 백 의원은 “AIDT 예산이 교육감의 의지로 밀어붙여서 편성된 것”이라며, “교사들의 반대에도 채택을 강행한 책임은 교육청에 있다”고 지적했다.
