【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=용혜인 국회의원(기본소득당)은 대구시 국정감사에서 전임 시장의 행정을 비판하며, 대구시가 시민의 세금을 낭비하고 있다고 강하게 질타했다.

용 의원은 “대구시가 전임 시장의 잘못된 행정을 감싸며 시민의 혈세를 낭비하고 있다”며 “대구시가 ‘법무법인 준표’가 되어서는 안 된다”고 지적했다.

그는 홍준표 전 시장 재임 시절의 행정 집행과 관련된 각종 소송을 언급하며 “법을 잘 안다고 하면서도 결국 법원에서 잇따라 패소했다”며 “소송비와 손해배상금이 모두 대구 시민의 세금으로 지출됐다”고 비판했다.

또한 용 의원은 “대구시가 집회의 자유를 이유로 극우 단체의 집회를 허가한 것은 법 해석상 타당하지 않다”며 “지자체장에게 집회 시위를 제한할 권한이 없다는 점은 법원과 법제처의 판단으로 이미 명확하다”고 강조했다.

그는 대구시의 행정 투명성 문제도 지적했다. “공무원 골프대회 예산과 관사 리모델링 비용 등이 반복적으로 비공개 처리되다가 소송 끝에 공개 판결이 났다”며 “그 과정에서 발생한 소송비와 배상금 역시 시민의 세금으로 충당됐다”고 말했다.

용 의원은 “홍준표 전 시장이 퇴임한 지 반년이 지났지만 대구시는 여전히 그 시절의 행정을 답습하고 있다”며 “시민의 세금이 전임 시장의 잘못을 방어하는 데 쓰이는 일은 더 이상 없어야 한다”고 강조했다.

이어 “대구시가 법적 책임을 회피하지 말고, 소송비와 관련해 공무원 개인의 책임 여부를 철저히 검토해야 한다”며 “시민의 권리가 침해되지 않도록 투명한 행정을 펼쳐야 한다”고 덧붙였다.

용 의원은 “박정희 기념사업 관련 소송 역시 대구시가 즉시 중단을 검토해야 한다”며 “시민을 위한 행정으로 방향을 전환해야 한다”고 밝혔다.

그는 마지막으로 “대구시가 시민의 세금을 어떻게 쓰는지가 행정의 품격을 결정한다”며 “시민을 위한 시정으로 거듭나야 한다”고 말했다.

Councilmember Yong emphasized, "It's been six months since former Mayor Hong Joon-pyo left office, but Daegu City is still repeating the administrative practices of that era." He added, "Citizens' taxpayer money should no longer be used to defend the former mayor's wrongdoings."

He continued, "Daegu City should not shirk its legal responsibility, but thoroughly review whether individual civil servants are personally responsible for the legal fees. It must practice transparent administration to ensure that citizens' rights are not violated."

Councilmember Yong also stated, "Daegu City should immediately consider suspending the lawsuit related to the Park Chung-hee Memorial Project. It must shift its focus to an administration that serves its citizens."

He concluded, "How Daegu City uses taxpayer money determines the quality of its administration. It must transform into a city that serves its citizens."
