【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=17일 대구‧경북‧강원교육청 국정감사에서 국회 교육위원회 소속 의원들이 경북교육청의 딥페이크 범죄 대응을 비판했다.

이날 더불어민주당 김준혁 의원(경기 수원시정)은 “세간에는 경북교육청이 딥페이크 범죄에 소극적이라는 평가가 있다”고 지적했다.

더불어민주당 문정복 의원(경기 시흥시갑)은 2022년부터 올해 8월까지 딥페이크 범죄 관련 학교폭력심의위원회 현황을 분석한 자료를 공개하기도 했다.

자료에 따르면 경북의 가해 학생 수는 21명이며 피해자 규모는 45명으로 나타났다. 대구와 비교했을 때 두 배가 넘는 숫자다. 

이에 대해 문 의원은 “딥페이크 범죄 피해 급증에도 불구하고 경북교육청의 관련 예산은 2024년과 2025년 동일하다”며 “상황을 개선하려면 당연히 예산이 증액돼야 한다”고 강조했다.

임종식 경북교육감은 “사안을 위중하게 생각하며 관리자 연수 강화, 유관기관과의 MOU 등을 통해 조치를 취하고 있다”고 설명했다. 예산에 관해서도 “추경을 통해 보완을 하겠다”며 개선 의지를 피력했다.

In response, member Moon emphasized, “Despite the sharp increase in deepfake crime damage, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education’s related budget is the same in 2024 and 2025,” and “The budget must naturally increase to improve the situation.”

Gyeongbuk Superintendent of Education Lim Jong-sik explained, “We are taking this matter very seriously and are taking measures such as strengthening training for managers and signing MOUs with related organizations.” Regarding the budget, he also expressed his will to improve, saying, “We will supplement it through a supplementary budget.”
