【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시와 대구일생활균형지원센터가 오는 7일 ‘워라밸로 청년을 잡아라’라는 주제로 정책토론회를 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.
대구시에 따르면 대구 워라밸 주간을 맞아 개최되는 이번 토론회는 청년들이 지역에 뿌리를 내리고 정착할 수 있는 직장 및 생활 환경을 조성하기 위한 정책을 제안하고 지역사회와 기업·기관, 청년들이 일과 생활의 균형을 통해 상생할 수 있는 환경조성 및 정책 추진방향에 대해 서로 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
토론회는 ‘청년은 왜 대구를 떠나는가?’, ‘워라밸에 투자하면 기업과 청년이 삽니다!’라는 주제로 대구시·시의회·기업체(기관) 및 학계와 관계기관의 전문가 10인이 형식에 구애받지 않는 자유토론을 펼친다.
1부 순서에서는 대구시 청년정책을 설명하고, 허용범 청년정책네트워크 상임부위원장, 이진목 달성1차산업단지관리공단 사무국장, 정재훈 11마리의 낭만고양이 대표, 김영철 계명대학교 교수 등 4명의 토론자가 나선다.
청년들이 지역을 떠나는 이유와 지역 중소기업의 현실, 그리고 기업의 애로사항과 청년들의 지역 정착 방안에 대해 자유롭게 의견을 나눈다.
2부에서는 김정옥 대구시의회 의원, 윤지환 청년정책네트워크 위원장, 김민지 대구행복진흥원 부연구위원, 임송미 전남일생활균형지원센터장, 김요한 청년전문 솔루션디자이너 등이 청년의 주거 독립과 워라밸 실천 기업 지원, 워라밸에 대한 사회적 투자 방안에 대해 심도 있는 토론을 펼친다.
안중곤 대구시 청년여성교육국장은 “이번 토론회를 통해 지역 청년들이 수도권 등으로 떠나는 원인에 대해 함께 고민하고 청년들이 지역에 정착하게 할 실현가능한 정책대안을 찾아보고자 한다”며, “대구시는 앞으로 청년들이 살고 싶은 워라밸이 실현되는 생활 환경을 조성하는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
