【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=DGB금융그룹 DGB사회공헌재단(이하 재단)은 5일 DGB대구은행 제2본점에서 한국부동산원(원장 손태락), 네이버 해피빈(대표 유봉석)과 함께 네티즌 기부만큼 기업이 후원하는 더블기부사업을 위한 사업비 전달식을 가졌다.

재단에 따르면 아동·청소년의 교육 및 복지 지원을 테마로 진행되는 이번 사업은 네티즌과 기업의 기부금이 1:1로 매칭되며, 목표 달성 시 총 7,300만 원의 기부금이 조성된다.

DGB사회공헌재단과 한국부동산원의 업무협약에 따른 공동 사업으로 후원금이 기탁됐으며, 기부금 또한 ‘생명의 온도 36.5도’를 상징해 3천6백5십만 원이 기탁돼 의미를 더했다.

‘해피빈 더블기부사업’은 오는 8일부터 약 한 달간 진행되며, 아동·청소년을 위한 영양식 지원, 가정의 달 이벤트, 교육기기 지원 등 다양한 영역에서 복지 지원이 이뤄질 예정이며, 전국 9개 사회복지시설에서 모금함이 개설돼 네티즌들의 참여를 유도할 예정이다.

DGB사회공헌재단 관계자는 “미래세대인 아동 청소년들을 위한 의미 있는 사업을 한국부동산원, 네티즌과 함께 진행할 수 있어 더욱 뜻깊다”라며 “앞으로도 누구나 쉽게 참여하고 협력할 수 있는 사회공헌사업을 통한 ESG 경영 실천에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.

한편, DGB금융그룹은 한국부동산원과 함께 지역에 꼭 필요한 ‘단비’와 같은 사회공헌사업 추진을 협력한다는 의미로 양사의 공식 캐릭터인 DGB ‘단디’와 한국부동산원 ‘레비’의 이름을 활용한 ‘단비 협약식’을 맺고 ‘생명사랑 캠페인’, ‘지역 일자리 창출사업’, ‘아이디어공모전’ 등 다양한 사업을 추진하고 있다.
