【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=DGB금융그룹(회장 황병우)은 스타트업 육성 프로그램인 ‘피움랩’ 6기 기업을 대상으로 ‘VC 멘토링데이’를 성황리에 마무리했다고 23일 밝혔다.

DGB금융그룹에 따르면 ‘VC 멘토링데이’는 피움랩 소속 스타트업 8개사와 국내 핀테크 전문 VC 심사역의 만남을 통해 투자 관련 멘토링을 제공하고 투자 기회를 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

이번 행사에는 핀테크혁신펀드 위탁운용사인 마젤란기술투자, 데일리파트너스, 나이스투자파트너스, 서울대학교기술지주를 포함해 비엠벤처스, 유안타인베스트먼트, UTC인베스트먼트 등 VC 총 7개사가 참여해 1:1 투자 멘토링이 이뤄졌다.

특히 FPT Software KOREA와의 협력을 통해 베트남 및 동남아시아 컨설팅 상담을 추가로 진행해 글로벌시장 진출을 희망하는 스타트업에 새로운 기회를 제공했다. FPT Software KOREA는 100곳 이상의 글로벌 고객사를 두고 다양한 IT서비스 및 솔루션을 제공하고 있는 베트남 최대 IT 기업이다.

황병우 DGB금융그룹 회장은 “핀테크 스타트업의 성장을 위해 지속해서 지원을 강화하고 있다”라며 “이번 행사를 통해 국내 스타트업들이 투자 기회를 발굴하고 글로벌 시장으로 나아갈 발판도 마련할 수 있기를 기대한다”라고 밝혔다.

DGB Financial Group (Chairman Hwang Byung-woo) announced on the 23rd that it successfully concluded ‘VC Mentoring Day’ for the 6th batch of ‘Pium Lab’, a startup incubation program.

According to DGB Financial Group, ‘VC Mentoring Day’ was organized to provide investment-related mentoring and seek investment opportunities through meetings between 8 startups affiliated with Pium Lab and domestic fintech expert VC reviewers.

A total of 7 VCs, including Magellan Technology Investment, Daily Partners, Nice Investment Partners, and Seoul National University Technology Holdings, which are fintech innovation fund management companies, as well as BM Ventures, Yuanta Investment, and UTC Investment, participated in this event and provided 1:1 investment mentoring.

In particular, through collaboration with FPT Software KOREA, additional consulting services were provided in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, providing new opportunities for startups hoping to enter the global market. FPT Software KOREA is the largest IT company in Vietnam, providing various IT services and solutions to more than 100 global clients.
