【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=DGB금융그룹(회장 황병우)은 7월 ‘정보보호의 날’(매년 7월 둘째 수요일)을 맞아 전 계열사 함께 정보보호 인식 제고와 실천을 위해 다채로운 행사를 진행했다고 10일 밝혔다.

DGB금융그룹은 그룹 임직원의 보안 의식을 높이고 정보보호의 중요성을 강조하기 위해 매년 정보보호 캠페인을 열어 임직원들이 정보보호를 생활화할 수 있도록 다양한 행사를 열고 있다.

지난 8일에는 iM뱅크 제1본점에서 ‘CEO와 함께하는 정보보호 행사’를 진행했으며, 출근길 임직원들에게 기념 물품을 제공하고, 로봇을 활용한 정보보호 인식 제고 홍보 활동을 펼쳤다. 더불어 ‘금융 정보보호 현황과 전망’을 주제로 한 초청 강의를 열어 최신 정보보호 동향과 실천 방향에 대해 생각하는 시간을 가졌다.

iM뱅크는 정보보호 활동 및 사례에 대한 아이디어를 공모해 임직원들의 적극적인 참여를 유도하고, 다양한 아이디어를 수집함으로써 정보보호 강화를 위한 새로운 방안을 모색할 계획이다.

지주사 및 각 계열사는 이날 정보보호 캠페인을 개최해 정보보호의 중요성을 널리 알리고, 인식 제고를 위한 홍보 물품을 전달하며 생활 속에서 실천할 수 있는 정보보호 습관을 강조했다.

DGB금융그룹 황병우 회장은 “정보보호는 우리의 비즈니스와 고객의 신뢰를 지키는 가장 기본적인 책임”이라며 “앞으로도 그룹 전 계열사가 함께 정보보호 활동을 지속해서 강화해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.

한편, DGB금융그룹은 정보보호에 대한 이해도를 높이기 위해 오는 12일까지 전 계열사 임직원을 대상으로 ‘정보보호 퀴즈 이벤트’를 진행한다.
