【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=DGB금융그룹 DGB사회공헌재단(이사장 황병우)은 9월 30일 대구역 3층에 위치한 ‘풍국면 대구역 사회공헌점’ 개소식에서 시장형 사업단 창업 지원을 통해 안정적인 어르신 일자리 창출을 위한 후원금을 전달했다고 2일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 일자리 확대를 통해 취업을 희망하는 어르신들에게 실질적인 도움을 주기 위해 마련됐으며, 한국노인인력개발원에서 성장 컨설팅을 지원하고, 초기 투자 비용을 DGB사회공재단과 한국부동산원이 함께 후원한다.

이번에 처음으로 창업 지원을 받은 곳은 공정하고 엄격한 심사를 거쳐 북구시니어클럽(풍국면 대구역 사회공헌점)과 광명시니어클럽(Reposo;쉼)이 선정됐다.

풍국면 대구역 사회공헌점은 북구시니어클럽에서 어르신 일자리 및 사업 운영을 총괄하고 대구시와 DGB사회공헌재단, 한국부동산원, 코레일 대구본부, ㈜진담이 협력해 대표적인 민-관-공 협력사업으로 주목받고 있으며, 이를 통해 어르신들의 고용 창출 효과가 기대된다.

DGB사회공헌재단 황병우 이사장은 “이번 사업을 통해 새로운 일자리가 창출되고, 참가 어르신들의 안정적인 노후 생활 지원에 도움이 되기를 바란다”라며 “앞으로도 DGB는 ESG 경영 실천을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 전했다.

한편, DGB사회공헌재단은 지난해 7월 한국부동산원과 단비 업무협약식을 체결했으며, 네이버 해피빈 더블 기부사업, ESG 사회공헌 아이디어 공모전, 대구 온(ON)가족 축제, 생명사랑 밤길걷기 캠페인 등 다양한 협력 사회공헌사업을 적극 실천하고 있다.

DGB Financial Group DGB Social Contribution Foundation (Chairman Hwang Byung-woo) announced on the 2nd that it delivered a donation for stable senior citizen job creation through support for market-type business group startups at the opening ceremony of the ‘Pungkuk-myeon Daegu Station Social Contribution Branch’ located on the 3rd floor of Daegu Station on September 30th.

The Punggukmyeon Daegu Station Social Contribution Center is a representative public-private-public cooperation project in which the Bukgu Senior Club oversees senior job and business operations, and Daegu City, DGB Social Contribution Foundation, Korea Real Estate Agency, KORAIL Daegu Headquarters, and Jindam Co., Ltd. collaborate to create jobs for seniors.

DGB Social Contribution Foundation Chairman Hwang Byeong-woo said, “I hope that this project will create new jobs and help support the stable retirement life of the participating seniors,” and added, “DGB will continue to do its best to practice ESG management.”

Meanwhile, the DGB Social Contribution Foundation signed a business agreement with Korea Real Estate Agency in July of last year, and is actively implementing various cooperative social contribution projects such as the Naver Happy Bean Double Donation Project, ESG Social Contribution Idea Contest, Daegu ON Family Festival, and Life Love Night Walk Campaign.
