주호영 부의장은 “공자기금을 통한 공영개발을 가능하게 했다는 점에서 신공항 건설에 중요한 전환점”이라며 “지역의 최대 숙원사업인 신공항이 적기에 제대로 개항될 수 있도록 앞으로도 최선을 다하겠다”고 했다.
