1부 기념식에서는 어르신 유공자에 대한 표창과 함께 시니어 밴드, 하모니카, 아코디언 공연이 이어졌고, 2부 행사에서는 골든벨 퀴즈대회, 레크리에이션 ‘내가 왕이다’, ‘스마트폰 과거시험’ 등 참여형 프로그램이 펼쳐져 현장을 웃음과 활기로 채웠다.
또한 현장에는 복지, 건강, 상담, 문화, 먹거리 등 36개 체험 부스가 운영됐으며, 인생사진관, 버스킹 공연, 먹거리 장터, 중식 제공 등 다양한 즐길 거리도 함께 마련돼 어르신들의 큰 만족을 이끌어냈다.
류규하 중구청장은 “어르신들이 주체가 되어 함께 즐긴 이번 축제는 지역사회에 활력을 불어넣는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “앞으로도 어르신들이 건강하고 행복한 노후를 보내실 수 있도록 다양한 복지정책을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
