이번 회의에는 경북 도내 각 시·군 문화원장 및 관계자 30여 명이 참석했다. 참석자들은 지역문화 정보 교류를 통한 지역문화 발전 방안과 향후 개최될 크고 작은 문화행사 전반에 대해 논의했다.

박승대 경상북도문화원연합회장의 개회사를 시작으로, 남한권 울릉군수의 환영사, 이상식 울릉군의회 의장, 남진복 경상북도의원, 최동일 울릉문화원장의 인사말이 이어졌다. 

이후 본격적인 회의에서는 도내 문화 진흥과 협력 방안에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 진행됐다. 마지막 일정으로는 "울릉도·독도 해양생태계"를 주제로 임원진 워크숍을 진행하여 울릉도·독도를 알아가는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

남한권 울릉군수는 "문화원장 회의가 2007년에 이어 18년 만에 울릉군에서 두 번째로 열리는 것에 대해 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다"며, "울릉도의 아름다움과 정겨움을 느끼고, 울릉도·독도의 소중한 가치를 널리 알리는 계기가 되기를 바란다"고 말했다.

Ulleung-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Local Cultural Center Directors Meeting and Workshop Held

Ulleung-gun held the "2025 2nd/4th Quarter Gyeongsangbuk-do Local Cultural Center Directors Meeting and Staff Workshop" at the Ulleung Cultural Center at 9:00 AM on the 17th.

Approximately 30 cultural center directors and officials from each city and county in Gyeongsangbuk-do attended the meeting. It was organized to discuss ways to develop local culture through the exchange of local cultural information and overall large and small cultural events to be held in the future.

It began with the opening remarks of Park Seung-dae, the Chairman of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Cultural Center Association, followed by a welcoming speech by Nam Han-kwon, the Mayor of Ulleung-gun, Lee Sang-sik, the Chairman of the Ulleung-gun Council, Nam Jin-bok, a member of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Council, and Choi Dong-il, the Director of the Ulleung Cultural Center.

The full-scale meeting then included in-depth discussions on ways to promote culture and cooperate within the province. The last event was a workshop for executives on the theme of "Ulleungdo and Dokdo Marine Ecosystem," which was a meaningful time to learn about Ulleungdo and Dokdo.

The Ulleung County Governor of Namhankwon said, "I think it is very meaningful that the Cultural Center Directors' Meeting is being held in Ulleung County for the second time in 18 years since 2007," and "I hope that this will be an opportunity to feel the beauty and affection of Ulleungdo and to widely publicize the precious value of Ulleungdo and Dokdo."
