이번 대회는 청도군이 주최하고 (사)한국국악협회 경북지회 청도지부(지부장 강유정)가 주관해 열렸으며, 신인부·일반부·단체부 참가자들이 자유곡을 선정해 경연을 펼쳤다. 오전 신인부와 일반부, 오후 단체부 경연과 축하공연, 시상식까지 이어지며 전통민요의 매력을 전하는 자리가 되었다.

이날 시상식에서는 대상에 이승수 경창자가 선정되었으며, 신인부·일반부·단체부에서도 각 부문별 최우수상과 준우수상 등이 수여되며 대회가 더욱 풍성해졌다.

행사는 관람객들의 호응 속에 진행되며 전통문화를 함께 즐길 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었다.

윤은경 청도군 문화예술체육과장은 “전국 각지의 국악인들이 함께한 이번 대회는 청도의 전통문화를 더욱 빛나게 한 자리였다”며 “민요의 울림이 군민과 방문객에게 따뜻한 감동으로 남기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Cheongdo County Successfully Concludes National Folk Song Competition

Cheongdo County (Governor Kim Ha-su) successfully concluded the "6th Cheongdo National Folk Song Competition," held on December 7th at the Youth Training Center's multipurpose hall.

Hosted by Cheongdo County and organized by the Cheongdo Branch of the Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korean Traditional Music Association (Branch Director Kang Yu-jeong), the competition featured rookie, general, and group categories, where participants selected their own songs and competed. The morning competitions for rookie and general categories, the afternoon group competitions, a congratulatory performance, and an awards ceremony showcased the charm of traditional folk songs.

At the awards ceremony, singer Lee Seung-su was selected as the grand prize winner. First and second place awards were also presented in the rookie, general, and group categories, further enriching the competition.
