DGB금융지주(회장 김태오)의 직원들이 어려운 코로나19 상황에서 이웃 사랑 실천을 위해 자발적으로 급여 일부를 반납하고 대구광역시에 기부했다.
지난 18일 최태곤 DGB금융지주 전무는 지주사 소속 직원 전원인 75명이 마음을 모아 반납한 6,600여만원의 금액을 전달하기 위해 대구시를 찾았다.
이날 전달식에는 최태곤 DGB금융지주 전무, 채홍호 대구시 행정부시장, 이희정 대구사회복지공동모금회 사무처장 등이 참석하였으며 기부금은 코로나19로 어려움을 겪고있는 지역 소상공인들을 위해 사용될 예정이다.

한편 DGB금융지주는 코로나19 극복과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 기부뿐만 아니라 온누리상품권 구매, 지역 식당 이용, 전통시장 이용 등을 통해 적극적으로 지역민 돕기에 나설 예정이다.
최태곤 전무는 “DGB금융지주 직원들이 자발적으로 반납한 임금으로 조성된 기부금이 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 소상공인들에게 도움이 되길 바라며, 위기 극복 노력에 함께하면서 지역 사회 대표 금융그룹으로서의 사회적 책임을 다하는 ESG경영에 힘써 사회적 책임을 다하겠다”는 뜻을 밝혔다.
