그동안, 우리 경북은 여당이라면 여당이라고 양보했고 야당이라면 야당이라서 소외받아 왔지만 특유의 묵묵함과 끈기로 맡은바 소임을 다해 왔습니다.
이제, 우리 경북이 만든 윤석열 정부의 성공을 위해 우리가 가장 앞장서서 일하고 정부도 우리의 노력에 합당한 지원을 아끼지 않을 것이라 확신합니다.

대한민국은 수도권병으로 신음하고 있습니다.

이 망국적인 ‘수도권 병(病)’ 을 해결해서 공정과 상식, 정의를 회복하는 것이 통합과 번영의 대한민국을 꿈꾸는 우리 앞에 주어진 가장 큰 시대적 과제입니다.
저는 지방시대를 열기 위해 윤석열 대통령께 통합과 번영의 대한민국으로 가는 길을 제안하고 대통령직인수위원회에 지역균형발전특별위원회를 설치할 것을 건의했습니다.
