최 전 부총리는 지난 총성 당시 지역 학생들을 대상으로 경제 특강을 진행한 바 있다. 이번에는  영남대학교 경영행정대학원 최고경영자과정 원우들을 대상으로 첫 특강에 나선다.  

최 전 부총리의 특강은 경북도지사 출마를 알리는 신호로 정치권은 해석한다. 이번 특강의 주제도 ‘추락하는 경북경제, 특화성장이 재도약 열쇠’로 알려져 있다. 

이날 최 전 부총리는 인구 소멸과 저성장 위기에 빠진 경북의 현실을 진단하고, 이를 타개할 실질적 해법으로 ▲신산업 트라이앵글 육성 ▲TK 신공항의 국가 재정 사업 전환 ▲의료 인프라 확충 등 5대 핵심전략을 제시할 예정이다.

 Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Choi Kyung-hwan has resumed his economics lectures, which had been on hiatus.
